. Fellow Briton Chevrolet’s Robert Huff took second place in the dying moments behind Muller’s 2:09:564, by two tenths of a second.
BMW's Augusto Farfus and Alessandro Zanardi took third and fourth positions, each bettering this morning's session by one place. Alain Menu scored a faster time than this morning, but he could only manage fifth as the track seemed to be much faster than a few hours ago.
Again, there was only one SEAT Sport car in the top six, and this time it was the SUNRED petrol-powered León of Tom Coronel who finished almost half a second off the lead.
Many of the SEAT drivers appeared to be in trouble to set a quick pace during the session, some of them even falling behind the Independents' class competitors that was topped by Franz Engstler who finished the session in ninth place overall with a lap of 2:11.165, ahead of Sergio Hernández in tenth who was followed by Priaulx and Tiago Monteiro.
There were no incidents on the track during this session, and everyone is set for the qualifying this afternoon.
