Munich welcomes WTCC racers

FIA World Touring Car Championship racers Néstor Girolami and Tiago Monteiro joined WTCC promoter François Ribeiro and FIA Formula E racer Daniel Abt at the annual Eurosport Motorsport Launch in Munich tonight.

Showcasing the major championships broadcast live on Eurosport Germany, the networking event, hosted by former WTCC executive producer Sebastian Tiffert, brings together a cross section of the motorsport community.

Girolami will race for the factory Volvo team, Polestar Cyan Racing, in the WTCC with Monteiro lining up for the works Honda squad. The 2017 season gets underway with WTCC AFRIQUIA Race of Morocco from 7-9 April.
