The battle for the 2017 FIA World Touring Car Championship heads to Germany next week when the iconic Nürburging Nordschleife hosts the action.

And here are all the key on-track timings as Germany prepares to welcome the WTCC for the tenth time.

Thursday 25 May:
11h30-12h30: Testing
18h50-19h50: Free Practice 1

Friday 26 May:
08h15-09h15: Free Practice 2
12h45-13h25: Qualifying
13h45-14h05: WTCC MAC3

Saturday 27 May:
11h20-11h50: Opening Race (3 laps)
12h45-13h15: Main Race (3 laps)

Belgium’s motorsport federation, the RACB, has identified the inaugural FIA World Touring Car Cup as the ultimate international launch pad for its young star driver, Denis Dupont.

The man behind the Honda Civic Type R TCR project hopes several examples of the car will be on the grid when the inaugural FIA World Touring Car Cup begins in Morocco on 7 April.

Súper TC2000 champion Facundo Ardusso would consider racing in the FIA World Touring Car Cup when the WTCR visits his native Argentina in August – providing he received an invitation to do so.
